Ingredients
- 3/4 cup crushed nuts (walnuts, almonds or pecans)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup homemade milk kefir
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1.5 cups white whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp baking powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine crushed nuts, eggs, kefir, and oil.
- Stir in flour, cinnamon, and baking powder.
- Let sit for 5-10 minutes while waffle iron preheats.
- Grease waffle iron and scoop approx 1/3 cup onto waffle iron and cook as directed
